Would you like to join the McKenzie Flyfishers?

If so, there are two steps, and they can be done in any order you like. They are as follows:

  • Attend a club meeting or outing; and

  • Submit your completed application with payment.  

Attending a club meeting or outing will give you the chance to test drive membership and give some of us a chance to meet you. Your membership will become official once you have also submitted your application and initial year membership fees, which include regular dues and an initiation fee which covers part of the new member costs (currently $45+$15=$60).

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month, except in July and December, at Gratitude Brewing (540 E 8th Ave, Suite A, Eugene, Oregon 97401 and also available via Zoom. Meetings begin with a social hour starting at 5:30pm and proceed around 6:30pm to a discussion of upcoming events, tackle and fishing tips as well as a formal presentation by well-known fly fishing experts. When you arrive at Ninkasi, ask any server to direct you to the room where the McKenzie Flyfishers meet. If you come to a meeting alone and don’t know anyone, please identify yourself as a visitor and we’ll welcome you to the meeting.

Fly Fishers International, Inc. (formerly The Federation of Flyfishers) was formed in Eugene, Oregon in 1965 at an organizational meeting sponsored by the McKenzie Flyfishers.
